2、 Nature
Sodium stearate appears as a white powder with a fatty odor and a smooth texture. It is soluble in hot water and ethanol and decomposes into stearic acid and its corresponding sodium salt when exposed to acid.
 
3、 Main purpose
This product is widely used in food, medicine, cosmetics, plastics, metal processing, metal cutting, etc. It is also used in the vulcanization system of acrylic rubber soap/sulfur, mainly as a catalyst, dispersant, lubricant, surface treatment agent, corrosion inhibitor, etc. When used in polyethylene and polypropylene, it can eliminate the adverse effect of residual catalyst on the color and stability of the resin. It has excellent lubricity and good processing performance. When used in combination with zinc soap and epoxy compounds, it has synergistic effect and can improve the thermal stability. When used in hard products together with salt based lead salts and lead soaps, it can improve the gel speed.
